ACTIVE LED — VIDEO WALLS

Walls of
Living Light.

Bezel-free LED canvases where every pixel is its own light source. One seamless surface, any size, designed, installed and calibrated by Qube.

01 / THE TECHNOLOGY

Every pixel.
Its own
Light Source.

Where LCD walls filter a backlight through framed panels, active LED emits light directly from millions of tiny diodes. A modular, bezel-free surface, tuned for the content you show and the room you use. Cabinet alignment, black levels and colour calibration make the difference between a large screen and a coherent image.

No panel bezels interrupting the content
Brightness specified for your room’s ambient light
Colour and black levels checked with the chosen display

02 / THE CANVAS STUDIO

A wall is a dimension.
A canvas is a possibility.

Start with your space. Shape the canvas, explore pixel density and see how the numbers change before we design the physical installation.

02 / THE DENSITY DIFFERENCE

Same wall.
More detail.

Pixel count grows with the square of pitch. P0.9 has approximately 7.7× the pixels per m² of P2.5.

Concept estimates use width ÷ pitch and height ÷ pitch. Actual dimensions and resolution depend on cabinet increments. Viewing guidance is illustrative; brightness, power, structure, cooling and service access are confirmed during a site survey.

PIXEL PITCH

Sharper From Closer.
Chosen For Your Room.

Pixel pitch is the distance between LEDs. The finer the pitch, the closer you can stand before the image resolves into pixels. Choose a pitch and watch the same scene re-render on the wall.

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN TWO PIXEL CENTRES

Smaller spacing puts more detail in the same area. Your content and viewing position decide how much detail matters.

03 / SPACES & POSSIBILITIES

Different rooms.
Different possibilities.

One technology, shaped around different lives. Explore the decisions that make each installation its own.

The room becomes the experience.

A film tonight. A gallery tomorrow.

A display that belongs in your home, even when the credits stop. We plan seating, room light, audio and everyday controls around how you actually use the space.

04 / BEHIND THE IMAGE

The wall is only
half the system.

A beautiful image starts long before the LEDs. We design the signal path, the physical installation and the controls together.

01

Light & colour

Specify brightness for ambient light. Verify low-brightness detail, colour uniformity and camera behaviour with the chosen hardware.

02

Structure & service

Check wall load, mounting tolerance and module access. Plan a service route before closing the wall finishes.

03

Power & heat

Size circuits and ventilation using manufacturer maximum and typical power ratings, content and expected operating hours.

05 / THE QUBE PROCESS

The craft behind
the canvas.

Four connected stages. Every one resolves something that matters to the final image and to the people using it.

STAGE 01 / 04

Begin with the room.

We record wall dimensions, viewing positions, ambient light and the constraints behind the finishes. The first task is understanding the space, before specifying a display.

What this stage resolves

  • Dimensions and sightline review
  • Structure and access assessment
  • Power, cooling and source requirements

06 / THE FINISHING DETAIL

Individual modules.
One coherent image.

A display is only as convincing as the consistency across its surface. Explore why calibration is part of the installation.

UNIFORMITY / CONCEPT DEMO
One image across the whole surface.

Illustrative colour and brightness differences. These are not measurements of a product or an installation.

01 / PERFORMANCE IN PRACTICE

An image that belongs together.

Colour and brightness uniformity are checked across modules, using test patterns and your actual content.

02 / PERFORMANCE IN PRACTICE

Comfort across the room.

We review viewing angles, brightness and fine detail from the positions people will really use.

03 / PERFORMANCE IN PRACTICE

Built for the everyday.

Sources, scenes and service access matter as much as the display. The controls should feel natural from day one.

07 / BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few things
worth knowing.

Start with the questions here. For the details unique to your room, we’ll walk through them with you.

Ask about your space

A direct-view LED display uses modular cabinets of LEDs that emit their own light. Unlike an LCD wall, it does not use a shared backlight or surrounding panel bezels. Cabinet layouts let us build a canvas around your available space and content format.
